Help us to win across Dumfries & Galloway at the next General Election.

At the next General Election, we'll be fighting to retain Dumfries & Galloway and Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale.
We are delighted that David Mundell MP is re-standing for DCT and we have John Cooper standing for the Dumfries & Galloway constituency, following Alister Jack MP's retirement.
There are only two parties that can win in our region - the Scottish Conservative & Unionists or the SNP. With a Scottish Conservative MP, local people get a hard-working constituency MP that will put our region first. With a SNP MP, you get a MP that will focus on independence before anything else.
Can you help us win and lock out the SNP?
Here's how you can help:
Canvassing:
We have canvassing teams out most weeks, usually on a Saturday or weekday afternoon/evening. We knock on doors and ask residents for their views, or ask them to fill out surveys for us to collect later.
If it's your first time canvassing, we'll pair you up with a more experienced canvasser until you're comfortable.
Canvassing is crucial to ensure that as we approach the General Election, we are ensuring those considering supporting us hear from us - and so that our candidates have the opportunity to hear directly from local people about what they want to see happen.
Leafletting:
We will have leaflet deliveries happening across the region at different times. You could join a leafletting session, or take a bundle to do in your own time. A bundle contains only around 150 leaflets and comes with a map so you can easily find your way through the route.
Phoning:
We call residents to ask the same questions as we do canvassing. This is usually on weekday evenings.
Again, training and guidance will be given. Phoning is a great way that members can get involved, especially if unable to travel to a canvassing location or would prefer to contribute to the campaign from their own home.
Admin:
We will sometimes have letters to stuff, or handwrite. This task comes up less often now as we have new machines for folding, but if you would like to chip in while feeling unable to commit to any of the other activities, it would be good to have you on board.
